Qahar Osi was a Tajik Persian poet born in Panjshir province of Afghanistan. Osi was indeed one the of the most talented poets of his time. His poems are just being discovered. the Tajik and Hazara ethnics of Afghanistan are people who love literature and education. Therefore, the education system in Afghanistan entirely runs by the Persians of Afghanistan. Qahar Osi is just another pride of our people. It is another sigh of our greatness and being civilized. Panjshiries did not just offer Afghanistan's National Hero to us and the rest of the world but they have also offered Qahar Osi with his talent, Qahar Osi aside to having the talent to recite poems, he was a good author and a great artist in Afghanistan's modern history. Unfortunately, Qahar Osi's life was cut short by the terrorist Gulbedine Hekmatyar. Qahar Osi was 29 on the day of his death. He left a legacy of love and pride to his people. We miss him deeply. Qahar Osi would never die from our minds and hearts. Osi's few popular poems is sung by Farhad Darya, and "Parsi" which is sung by a few Afghan Persian singers.
